Going further.

During the celebration of  International Women's Day on March 8th, 2020 I read , with some students, a bit of poetry and prose.
A vivid memory which  I wanted to share with you.
Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine.
They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world,
are the ones who do.

Jack Kerouac

"Everything will be fine."

Since I saw this illustration by the Spanish illustrator @72kilos two weeks ago,
I constantly tell to myself this kind of personal mantra:

Everything will be fine

I've got the feeling that if everything goes well ,
everything will change for the better.

It's time to inspire positive change and to build the new.

If not now, then when ?

Lots of love,

Lourdes

"This too will pass"

Everything will be fine

To you, dear Reader

On Fiday December, 27th I wrote my last post. It was a long time ago...
Now I am confined to home * as one billion people around the world due to the global coronavirus pandemic. We weren't ready for this, were we ?

These days, I heard a beautiful and thoughtful story which refers to the idea of impermanence :

"This too will pass".
